Klaus Janek,
born 1969, in Bolzano Italy, studies classical doublebass with M. Muraro, Venice, workshops with D.Holland, P.Kowald. L.Butch Morris.
Explores avantgarde music and works on sound research on the doublebass. Gets involved in the improvised music scene and lots of traditional and electronic music, published CD (FMP, edel classics, Minor Music, Solponticello, Ubiquity and others), in between three solo doublebass CDs. Composes music for cinema, theatre and dancetheatre. Art direction of various concertseries in Italy and Germany. Concert and festival appearances in EU, USA, Israel and Russia. Since 2008 he freelances for Meta Design in conception and production.

Klaus Janek
geboren 1969, in Bolzano Italien, studiert klassischen Kontrabass bei M. Muraro, Venezia, nimmt an Workshops mit D.Holland, P.Kowald. L.Butch Morris teil.
Er beschäftigt sich mit Avantgarde in der Musik und widmet sich ausgeprägten Klangrecherchen am Kontrabass. Er involviert sich in Projekten Improvisierter, traditioneller und Elektronischer Musik und wirkt an ca. 20 CD Veröffentlichungen mit, dabei 3 Solo Kontrabass CDs (FMP, edel classics, Ubiquity Records u.a). Klaus Janek komponiert Musik für Kino, Thaeater und Tanztheater. 2004 firmiert er einen exklusiv Vertrag als Komponist mit scoop music gmbH/bmg publishing. Künstlerische Leitung von Konzertserien in Italien und Deutschland. Konzerte und Festivals in Europa, USA, Israel und Russland.
